Susan Eyring of Copeland & Co. Real Estate has successfully completed a Florida CLE course designed to help Realtors cater to the unique needs of pre-construction and new construction homebuyers. The New Homes Niche course offered by the New Home Co-Broker Academy awarded Susan the New Homes Co-Broker (NHCB) designation.
This course is specifically designed for Realtors who want to help homebuyers purchase during the pre-construction phase of a new community, and new construction homes. New construction in Palm Beach County is booming, with communities being built in West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Wellington, Boynton Beach, and Boca Raton. More than 1,000 Florida Realtors have earned the NHCB designation since it’s inception.
Susan has positioned herself to be able to serve new construction homebuyers with:
- Pre-sale or pre-construction for purchase contracts and terms
- Designs and styles new home builders are incorporating into their communities
- Knowing the “ins and outs” of working with the builder’s internet advisors and on-site sales teams
- Understanding the differences between an onsite sales team and the onsite Realtor, and how to navigate those relationships
New construction homes are growing in popularity among homebuyers across the country. According to a study by New Home Builders Inc., 35% of those shopping re-sales will consider a new home. According to New Home Source, there are at least 88 pre-build or newly built communities in Palm Beach County, with homes ranging in price from the mid $200,000 to well over $1,000,000.
