See What $1.2 Billion Can Buy at the Palm Beach International Boat Show

Got an extra $1.2 billion sitting around in the bank? Looking for something to do with it?

Then you have to check out the 31st Annual Palm Beach International Boat Show this weekend! The Show started this past Thursday, March 17, and lasts through Sunday, March 20, 2016 on the Waterfront in Downtown West Palm Beach.

This boat show is considered to be one of the top five boat shows in the county. If you are looking for an opportunity to spend an awesome day out outside on the intracoastal checking out some amazing mega yachts that you might never step foot on again, come on down.

How much money is at the Palm Beach Boat Show?

Organizers say the Palm Beach International Boat Show features more than $1.2 billion worth of yachts and boats of all sizes and styles, many of which are on special discount for the weekend. Exhibitors and owners come in from all over the United States and the world, showing off their prized vessels and equipment.

Some of the biggest, and undoubtedly most expensive yachts on display:

  • 280′ Lurseen – Solandge
  • 252′ Silver Yachts – Silver Fast
  • 247′ Lurseen – Northern Star
  • 204′ Feadship – Positive Carry
  • 203′ Viareggio – Sealyon

If $1.2 billion worth of yachts isn’t enough to get you excited, this might: children under 6 get in free!

Some of the boats on sale this weekend include 8′ inflatables, fishing boats, bow riders, personal watercrafts, power boats, center consoles and super yachts over 150′. If you are not buying a boat, there is still plenty to shop, from nautical vendor booths, electronics, clothing and accessories, and more.

Other activities for the day include kid’s fishing clinics, fishing and rigging seminars, exotic cars, music, and plenty of food and cocktails to go around!

I usually go every year with my husband to take in all the amazing boats and great food.  It will be amazing weather in downtown West Palm Beach and well worth the trip.

Children under 6: Free
