Tracie was born in Tampa, Florida, and early in live moved to Palm Beach County. She began her real estate career over 15 years ago by working for preeminent real estate law firms in West Palm Beach and Boca Raton.

Tracie’s most valuable asset is her experience in getting buyers and sellers to the table successfully. In 2004, she opened her own title insurance company in Boynton Beach. After the real estate crash in 2008, when real estate agents dropped like flies from the market, Tracie saw an opportunity to make a change.

Tracie left her title company to her fellow partners to become a full-time real estate agent. She found a gifted Realtor who took her under his wing, teaching her the ropes. After two formative years, she left that team to strike out on her own.

In 2012, she was contacted by HGTV to be featured on My First Sale as one of the top Realtors in Palm Beach County. She also earned the Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation, an intensive instructional course on the art and science of real estate negotiations.

For the first five years of her career as a Realtor, Tracie moved from one brokerage to the next, trying to find a good balance between Broker instruction and training, a solid brand in the market place, and fair and reasonable Broker fees. She never found it. In 2015, Tracie realized it was time to control her own destiny, and create it.

In August of that year, Tracie earned her Florida’s Real Estate Broker’s license, and founded Copeland & Co. Real Estate with her husband. On September 15th, 2015, less than a month later, the doors to her new real estate company were opened in West Palm Beach. The rest, as they say, is history.

By all measures, Copeland & Co. is thriving in it’s first and second year of business, capturing market share from established brands, and hiring a team of seven Realtors out of the current location in historic West Palm Beach.
