Here’s some of the things we love about each of the attractions.
LION COUNTRY SAFARI
LCS has come a long way since the days when grandpa would drive your through the ostrich pen (though you can still do that!) Renovations and expansions over the last decade have made this LCS a preeminent theme park attraction in South Florida! In addition to the main drive-through attractions, you can now walk the park, too! There are many education workshops for kids, including safari-themed discovery classes, theaters, and interactive exhibits.

Built in 1954 and now encompassing 54 acres, the legendary Miami Seaquarium is not to be missed, especially if you are just visiting Florida for the summer! With a focus on rehabilitation and conservation for marine wildlife, the Seaquarium offers tons of stuff to keep the kids busy, and great entertainment for adults, too. Swim with the dolphins, meet the sea lions, enjoy the shows and exhibits, and don’t forget to stop at the “touch” pool where kids can interact with sea creatures!

MUSEUM OF DISCOVERY AND SCIENCE
This is one of the best science attractions in South Florida. The many exhibits to enjoy include a hurricane simulator, river otters at play, and dinosaur bones. You can also get up close with real animals from the Everglades, like alligators. The Museum also offers many traveling exhibits throughout the year, a live science show, and a massive IMAX 2D/3D theatre with dual 4k laser projectors for one of the most crisp and engrossing visual experiences in the world!
